    Hello,

    Check in your

    TOPOSIM\Continents\Asia\scenery folder for

    TOPOSIM_DEM_EastAsia_A_K2_LOD7-11.bgl

    It appears to be missing.

    Thanks

as you can see i made a printscreen with the scenery folder so you can see what it is inside.

    Hello,

Please take shot of the BGL files in alphabetical order to help with my diagnosis.

    Thanks

i use also orbx products (global etc etc).
do you think it could be a problem there?
but even if i put the toposim mesh as no1 priority, even above the airports, i have the same results
    thank you

OK, my fault. I included erroneously-named files in the distribution.

    Rename TOPOSIM_DEM_EastAsia_A_K2_LOD7-11.bgl

    to

    TOPOSIM_DEM_A_EastAsia_K2_LOD7-11.bgl

    and

    Rename TOPOSIM_DEM_EastAsia_A_MtEverest_LOD7-11.bgl

    to

    TOPOSIM_DEM_A_EastAsia_MtEverest_LOD7-11.bgl

    That should do the trick

    Let me know

    Thanks

    Justin

good morning! i renamed the files and the things were improved but not solved.
    i attach 2 photos.
the 1st, as i approach k2, it looks like it is a … volcano.
the 2nd, as i fly very close to k2, again i see the spikes on it.
but i wanted to mention since yesterday, that all other scenery problems, that i had initially, after the liligo glacier, are gone. the area looks perfect.
i also tried different graphics settings, i played around with mesh resolution.
but always i had the same result.

at your computer, everything looks fine?
    i use p3d version 4.5.12.30293
i was afraid to upgrade to the last one, because i didn’t want to face any problems with my planes or scenery.
i usually upgrade after 2-3 months that each version was released.
what version do you use? and what graphics settings do you have?
    thank you

    Gmorning

Well, dang. Dont know why its showing up for me but not for you.

Try this. Under the TOPOSIM\Continents folder, make a new folder named HighAsia, then make a scenery subfolder. Put the K2 and Mt Everest BGLs in that new scenery folder. Then in Scenery Library add the new HighAsia folder and layer it above the Asia folder.

    See if that works.

hi again… amazing things happen (in the world of the computers):

    1. before i do what you told me, i remembered once upon a time i have bought from steam, fsx. i install it fast , clean install, no addon scenery and i put inside the highasia folder with the 2 files, you told me to create. it worked perfectly !!
then i go … deeper. i point the scenery to the topoasia folder that it did not work in p3d. in fsx it worked perfectly !!!!!!

    2. i go back to p3d. i disable ALL the scenery and i just leave the full asia folder inside. and it worked !!!! (yes the folder that it didn’t work for 1 week now)

by the way, for people who read this, toposim k2 is extremely good. very close to the real one.

so something inside my scenery is meshing with k2. now i don’t have time to start enabling one by one, make a new flight till i find the … guilty but in the future i will do it. and if i find something, i will come back in this post and i will write it so you can try also to replicate it.

for now… thank you very much for your help !!!
